Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid

Christ Church actively supports Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid (OCCFEA).  This organization operates out of the Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church at 6000 S. Hampton Road, Dallas, TX 75232 (214-943-7757).  Their hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The organization is a collective effort by the churches of Oak Cliff to meet the emergency needs of those living in the area.  The organization is a critical source of support for homeless individuals.

Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid supplies food to Oak Cliff residents. Limited cash funds are also available  for other emergency needs. Money requests must come through other social  service agencies.  Those seeking assistance must reside in one of the following zip codes: 75203, 75208, 75211, 75212, 75216,  75224, 75232, 75233, 75236, 75237, 75241 and 75249.  There are no fees for these services.

Christ Church works hard to provide a steady supply of non-perishable foods and toiletries to Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid.  We maintain a a large bin in the parish hall for this purpose.  We also encourage people to make cash donations by writing a check to Christ Church, making sure to put “Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid” in the memo line.
