Holy
Matrimony (Christian Marriage) is a sacrament of the
Church and, as such, deserves careful preparation.
Christ Church's Premarital Preparation includes a study
of the Scriptures, Theology, and Liturgy of Christian
Marriage. It also explores issues of personality,
compatibility, and finance that will serve a marriage
well. There is no charge for Holy Matrimony at
Christ Church, but there are expenses that will be
incurred. Christ Church assumes that anyone
wishing to be married here will either be members of the
Parish, or regular attendees, seeking Parish membership.
Discussions of marriages at Christ Church are done, in
person only, by the Rector. Please call the Parish
Offices for an appointment by ringing 214.941.0339.

mucho cuidado. El curso de preperación se incluye

(Book of Common Prayer, page 424) that speak to the relationship
that a wife and husband create in Holy Matrimony. What do the

This worksheet is designed to be
used with the Holy Scripture that will be used at your wedding.
Read and study the passages that follow, answering the questions
below. You may respond to them on this form, or write your
answers on another page, whichever you prefer.
Below, you
will find four groups of passages from the Bible. Each
group is coded by a different color. In each group, read
the lesson provided and answer these three questions: 1.
Briefly, in your own words, what is the text -- as it is written

Genesis 1:26-28 (Male and female He created them)

she got up, and they began to pray and implore that they might
be kept safe. Tobias
F67 began by saying,
"Blessed are you, O God of our ancestors, and blessed is your
name in all generations forever. Let the heavens and the whole
creation bless you forever. You made Adam, and for him you made
his wife Eve as a helper and support. From the two of them the
